With the extension of the Governor’s stay-at-home order until Friday, May 1, 2020, we will be continuing the established protections and protocols for the Village until that time. Specifically:
- All Village buildings remain closed to the public. If you need to call the office to make a utility payment, request a zoning permit application, or have a question, please call before 1:00PM Monday – Friday to assure your issue is addressed as soon as possible. Calls after 1:00PM may not be answered and returned until the following business day. While staff may be in the office after 1:00PM, we are working with a limited staff and they may be working on other items during the afternoon and not available to answer the phone. If, at any time while calling the office, if your call is not answered, please leave a voicemail with your name, return phone number, and reason for your call.
- All parks will remain open, except Alt Park, but the playground equipment will remain closed. No organized/league sports are permitted. Alt Park is being closed immediately due to on-going problems at Alt Park with persons destroying the park (driving through the grass making deep ruts and tearing it up). If anyone has any information regarding Alt Park, please call the Baltimore Police Department.
- All shelter house rentals are suspended until May 2, 2020 (subject to change again, pursuant to the Governor’s orders). Anyone with a rental reservation in April will be contacted to reschedule or receive a full refund.
- Mayor’s Court is suspended until June 2, 2020. All cases set in April or May are being continued to June 2, 2020.
